Explore our 2025 highlights and what we’re building for 2026

As the year draws to a close, we’re excited to reflect on the progress we’ve made together. From expanding our renewable energy simulation range to introducing new product features and immersive 3D experiences, 2025 has been a milestone year.

Here’s a look at the advancements we’ve released and what you can expect from us in the year ahead.

2025 Product Highlights:

This year marked major growth across our simulation and immersive learning portfolio. We expanded our XR (Extended Reality) training suite with new modules for Hazard Identification, Wind Turbine Maintenance & Operations, and Process Isolations with Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO), offering more realistic and practical safety training.

Major Upgrades Across Our Simulation Suite:

We introduced a series of platform-wide enhancements to improve both learning outcomes and instructor efficiency.

  • A revamped SIM Manager & Simulation Launch experience
  • AI Tutor
  • All new learning materials and fillable exportable workbooks
  • Trend System Revamp
  • Revamped Simulation Management & Open Management System
  • Improved Sound & Unit System Management
  • Enhanced 3D Mouse & Keyboard Control in Cloud
  • New 3D Inventory & Toolbar
  • Unity 6 Migration across all 3D Models

These upgrades streamline the training experience whilst giving organisations clearer insight into learner progress and readiness.

New Simulation Models Launched:

We also launched several new models, widening our coverage across renewable energy and low-carbon technologies:

These developments make 2025 one of our most innovative years yet and set the stage for even greater expansion in 2026.

Immersive Training for the Energy Transition: What’s Coming in 2026

The demand for more engaging, intuitive, and hands-on training continues to grow across the energy and industrial sectors. In response, our teams have been developing our XR and VR (Virtual Reality) solutions, designed to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world plant environments.

In 2026, we’ll be introducing further immersive developments that expand beyond visualisation into true experiential learning. These will include:

  • New Assessment Builder, enabling trainers and instructors to create their own scored assessments with an easy to use user interface. Includes scored assessment and performance measurement to enable competency monitoring and evaluation across simulation sessions.
  • Multi-Platform Support, our goal is to produce versatile training content that gives flexibility to our customers and the learning experience. From high availability cloud to immersive augmented reality headset experiences
  • Equipment Explorer application, our newest XR product, available on PC, Cloud, or AR (Augmented Reality), offering an interactive way to understand how different equipment functions and operates. Designed to deliver immersive, flexible, and hands-on learning
  • Guided operational walk-throughs, tailored for onboarding, cross-training, and remote learning
  • Learning Management System (LMS) Support, our Cloud or PC based simulation systems will seamlessly integrate with market leading LMS providers. Seamlessly bringing the learner to the training content and learner results to the instructors
  • Siemens COMOS Walkinside, we can now integrate this industry leading 3D visualisation tool with our Operator Training Simulator (OTS) and other learning capabilities. Allowing us to build large scale digital twins. Import CAD, link to simulations and create learning scenarios
  • AI Tutor, we continue to add AI assistance across our most popular simulation experiences, this will enhance learning, reduce onboarding time and ultimately improve knowledge attainment.

These developments build on our existing Virtual Plant offerings, bringing higher fidelity, smarter interactions, and more modular learning paths. Whether used for classroom instruction, remote learning, or competency assessments, our new XR/VR tools are designed to accelerate skill development while reducing operational risk and training time.

As we move into 2026, we’re excited to continue expanding our portfolio to support the evolving needs of the energy transition. Over the coming year, you can expect:

  • New renewable energy simulation models, including further coverage of hydrogen, energy production, and carbon reduction technologies
  • Enhanced interoperability across our simulation suite, enabling smoother transitions between models and more connected workflows
  • Advanced analytics and reporting tools to support deeper insight, performance tracking, and training assessment
  • New Interactive Virtual Plant environments, adding more process spaces, equipment types, and scenario-based exercises

Here’s to an exciting year ahead, and as always, we’re only a message away.
