TSC have been supplying process simulations to Forth Valley College since 2010. Initially we supplied a 14 PC classroom
Later in 2013 a full Virtual Control Room was added. Three IPC 201 and TPS 200 hardware units which included a substantial increase of classroom provision to their portfolio.
Later in the same year, we actively developed a site-specific process simulation for an operator training plant known as The Westfield Plant. This facility, formerly part of BP’s Grangemouth Facility, had a PC-based control system provided by TSC in the 1990s.
The Westfield Plant itself was moved to the college site as part of the college building programme and its DCS was upgraded to a Delta-V system by the college.
In 2019 the College moved to a new purpose-built, state-of-the-art building and TSC were approached to co-ordinate the moving of all existing TSC products.
This resulted in the move of the VCR, the IPC and TPS hardware units and the existing classroom system.
